picture shows the bridge across Hartington Road (top right) looking
back towards the Lewes Road Viaduct (the main span can be seen top
centre). The locomotive at the head of the train would shortly enter
the cutting parallel with Bonchurch Road, now occupied by William Clark
Park. The trucks are on the site of what would become Old Viaduct
Court, while Enterprise Point in the present day would be just above
