ABOVE: This map shows the industrial estate (Stevens Road industrial Estate) which occupies the site in the present day. It is nice to note that the tunnel is still there! It is also worth mentioning that Freshfield Way, which is the current access way to the industrial estate, is not the same as Coalbrook Road was originally, nor is it in the same place. Coalbrook Road would have been slightly further toward the bottom of the map, in the area now bound by the car park next to the Bingo Hall.
