Hollingdean.
(Where it all started)

Yes, really! Okay, it might look like a fairly mundane housing estate with a council depot plonked in the middle in the present day, but at one point Hollingdean was where The Kemp Town Railway branched off from the Line to Lewes before crossing Lewes Road and entering the 1036 yard long tunnel under East Brighton.

With this in mind, it DEFINITELY deserves a mention!
