BELOW: This photo shows a view along the bottom of the Bonchurch Road Cutting. 08class diesel D3220 emerges from the western end of Kemptown tunnel with a train of coal wagons. It is hard to imagine that such a seemingly rural scene existed in the heart of East Brighton!
