Loz :o) This monster is Number 92220 Evening Star, the last ever steam loco built for British Rail, but funnily enough, not the last steam locomotive ever built (there has been a loco built from scratch in the last 3 years). It's so much more impressive than the sterile, faceless sleek machines we have in the modern day. However, amidst all the glamour and glory it's easy to forget how dirty steam propulsion actually was on a large scale.
